Timey-whimy stuff, backstory to page 1.

It’s staggering to ponder how many variables have to line up for any one thing to happen.... or not! I have some pretty vivid recollections of near misses and a few that didn’t, with good and not so good outcomes. Timing is everything, is it not???

Mostly though, I think we live in between the "near misses”, taking for granted the good, the beautiful and the necessary that lines up everyday, allowing us to live and thrive. Nature seems to take it all in stride, doing what it does best, and adapting as needed. Take donkeys for instance, they sleep standing up unless or until they feel safe. How interesting is that!?

It's a wondrous world out there and the One that loved everything into being cares for us, sometimes in the most unexpected ways. Near misses are perhaps just a reminder of who’s keeping time.
